Our Venetian Plaster Process in Wynwood

Consultation
Site visit to assess substrate, traffic patterns, lighting, and design intent. We coordinate with designers, architects, and general contractors.
Surface Preparation
Repair cracks and imperfections. Prime with an alkali-resistant primer suitable for lime. Mask and protect fixtures, floors, and adjacent surfaces.
Base Coats
Apply 2–3 base coats of lime putty.
Finish Coats
Apply 2–3 layers of pigmented Venetian plaster, burnished to desired sheen.
Sealing
Apply a protective sealer suited to commercial use — higher durability in food-service or high-traffic areas.
Final Inspection
Walk the project with the client and provide care instructions.
